Christine Ruiz De Luque
Christine was born in Argentina into a multinational and polyglot family who, to this day, continues to share its meals in Spanish, French, Italian, and English.
She grew up to study cultural anthropology at the University of Buenos Aires, and production and acting at the Conservatory of Performing Arts. Christine then moved to Europe where she lived and worked in Munich, London, Rome, Madrid, and Paris.
For many years, she worked in international documentary development and co-productions, before she decided to undertake a new career teaching languages in Paris, at Monceau Langues, a language training school for top managerial staff of companies such as Christian Dior, Oddo Pinaton, LVMH, Bfinance, American Hospital in Paris, Thales-IS, Publicis, and TBWA, as well as international law firms like Dechert Paris LLP, Latham & Watkins.
Christine taught at Monceau Langues for seven years, but, polyglot and nomad that she is, relocated to Portland, Maine, to be closer to her daughter and family.
