Grammar Workshops

During the course of each semester we offer one or two grammar workshops. We accept a limited number of participants. Students and instructor work together on particularly difficult points of grammar.

Opera and Italian Music

Learn about the greatest Italian Composer and the most popular arias. Read and understand their work in Italian.

We also offer workshops about “musica popolare”, like La Musica Napoletana.

Regional Italian Cooking

If you have a passion for Italian Cuisine and its traditions, then come join us for the preparation of some authentic, tasty, yet simple Italian dishes.

In an entertaining and relaxed setting, you will be introduced to the history of Italian food related to regional customs and seasonal festivities.

Each Workshop will focus on a different Italian Region, or on a specific area of food such as soups, main dishes, or a dessert. Printed material will support the demonstration.

The preparation will be followed by an opportunity to enjoy the meal we just prepared, along with wine sampling and discussions.

Everyone is welcome to participate. The classes will be held in English, however we encourage you to approach the basic Italian cooking vocabulary that will be explored during the class.

We have limited this workshop to a smaller group (limit 8) to guarantee the best learning environment. Class details and location instructions will be provided upon confirmation of registration.

Watch Italian films together and discuss it with your instructor!

Read a novel, or a series of short stories, then meet with our reading group to discuss your readings in Italian.

This program is suggested to students of Intermediate 2 and Advanced level.
